Ryan and I are celebrating our ten-year anniversary today. Yay for us! My mom said that someday it will feel like I've been born married. They just celebrated their 43rd. So I suppose she would know. Ryan's folks are up for this weekend to visit, so Ryan and I are going out together, on a date, alone, with no kids, to celebrate. Gosh, what'll we talk about? Who'll we watch? AAAARRRGH. We are actually going to a rated r movie as well! Mmmoooohhhaaaa!
Funny things about 1995:
- I was driving an 83 GMC Diesel Jimmy, Ryan drove a 1974 VW Beetle.
- In our CD player lived Type-O Negative, BeeGees, Nirvana, Green Day, Iggy Pop, and Metallica.
- I was a veterinary assistant, and he was a boat detailer.
- We lived in Lake Havasu on Jamaica Blvd with two roommates, Dan and Joe.
- I had 3 cats (Tink, Isabell, and Bub) and 2 dogs (Penny and Chester).
Funny things about 2005:
- Joe's in Tucson, and Dan is in Iraq now.
- We live in Tucson
- I am an RN, Ryan is a liaison to the juvenile Court and LaFrontera.
- We drive a 1995 Honda Civic and a 2004 VW Passat Wagon.
- In our CD player lives: Beck (two of em!) White Stripes, Gorillaz, and Cake. In my craft room: Violent Femmes, Pink Floyd, Franz Ferdinand. In Ryan's shop: Punk compilations, ICP, Metallica.
- We have 2 kids, 3 dogs (Penny, Chester, and Louis) 4 cats (Bub, Fanni, Nico, and Dana) and 2 tankfuls of fish.

Oh my gos, Where does a decade go? And a date, with no kids? Wow! I cannot even wrap my mind around that one. I think I would just spaz and pass out if that happened.
That should be "oh my gosh". I was so excited at the thought of an evening with no kids, I forgot how to type.
