I worked sat, sun and mon. Thats three 12 hours shifts. Plus 1 hour of transit time, and an extra 1/2 hour finishing up loose ends per day. So I sleep like 8 hrs, which leaves approx 3 hours that I am awake at home per day, and usually no one is even awake when I leave in the AM, so that leaves about 1.5 hours per day for Ryan, Aurora and Astrid. Needless to say, that is not enough time. Bleah.
I worked really hard though, and I am tired today. But, I have some stuff on my agenda anyway: YMCA, Store, Lunch maybe, laundry, kitty boxes...nap... Yes, definitely nap.
Little Astrid is pulling herself up on what ever she can! She pulled herself up in her play pen at Gramma Dorothys for the first time this week. Gramma says her new favorite activity is to crawl to the nearest human body, and use that body as a ladder to climb up to a standing position. Then she bounces. And bounces. According to her teachers at school, they suspect she will be an 'early walker'. All the Grandmas are in agreement with this statement. After all, her Daddy and her Aunties were early walkers too. I wonder if it has something to do with their birth order? I am just waiting and watching, and hoping she doesn't bonk her head too hard.
Aurora is more sophisticated everyday. She doesn't slop cereal on her shirt anymore, she takes her dishes to the sink when done eating, and she even makes her bed! She is a lot of fun these days.
