This morning, Ryan, the girls and I ventured to the Reid Park Zoo. I absolutely love that place. The smells, the sounds, the gardens, and of course, the animals. Astrid pulled another houdini, this time in the three-point straps of the stroller. Aurora learned all about the animals, chased a squirrel, drank some super-sugar concoction in an elephant shaped sippy cup. Ryan acted as cargo holder, "Daddy can you hold my gofish crackers?" "Daddy can you carry me?" "Ryan, grab Astrid, she's standing again." We got home about 1230, I sent the kiddos to nap, but they never did sleep. Then, we goofed around the house for the rest of the day.

I love that Zoo. Sounds like so much fun. Poor Ryan - the Cargo Dad. I understand, I am always the Cargo Mom. :) I was one yesterday when we went to the strip for a look-see, and a way to pass the afternoon!
