Wow. A week since the last post. Lets see, what has happened? Working...blah. Gramma Laurie is coming to visit this weekend, hopefully it will be a relaxing time for her. I just have to clean up the house and though it won't take too much time, I just would rather goof around.
My mom called last night with some terrible news. My uncle, who I haven't even spoken to in some 10 years has cancer. The big non-hodgkins kind, stage IIII. He had a fight, I guess, with the rest of the family and has pretty much isolated himself from everyone. I think he still talks to my cousin a little bit. Its so strange really, because growing up, I remember staying at his house and having a great time. He owned a bread delivery service, and his home was always stocked with Enteman's cakes and Pepperiage Farm Goldfish snacks. The last time I spoke to him, I think he and his wife were visiting Chinle, AZ, when my father worked up there. Then nothing... for years... now this... Now the big question is, does he even want the family support? I would.
I tried to call his home today. But no one answered.
