First of all, I would like to thank our friend for this wonderful new flat screen monitor that I am viewing currently. The clarity is stunning, and I hope to do some really excellent picture manipulation with it.

I worked the last three days. I am trying to relax, but every time my mind wanders, it starts thinking about work. I found out that one of the new RNs hired is quitting the ER because she can't "handle it". How sad. She is really fun and cool and will be missed. I wonder what happened? I have noticed a trend, however, that RN transplants from other departments don't often stick with ER. Obviously that is not the case in every nurse, but in the two years of observable staff changes, that is what I have noticed. I have a therory about this... Its because we work our freaking asses off and you don't realize it until you step into our shoes..

It is just my opinion of course.
