Muh ha ha ha! Evil Genius!

We are going to further the scientific community today. The UofA called, and are requesting that I bring in my 15mo old to the language acquisition lab, to have some 'fun testing done'. Some professor has all her students running this lab, and they do a series of tests to see how much babies really know. Well I know this: Astrid understands nearly everything said to her. She follows some requests too!

For instance:
Me: "Honey! You need a diaper change! Can you bring a new diaper to me?"
Her: (nodding enthusiastically) She then toddles off to her room and comes back with a diaper.
Me: "Can you please throw your diaper away now?"
Her: (nodding again) "Gah!" She takes the diaper and puts it in the trash.

Another instance:
We are stripping the kids down for their bath in the evening. In our house, this is where shrieking, running and chanting "Nekkid butt!" happens. Last week, Astrid joined in the chanting, "Naynay buh!" HAH! My child is a freaking genius!

Her big sis on the other hand is well on the path to reading. She and Ryan play the 'Letter Game' in the car. That's where Daddy thinks of somthing that begins with the letter... and Aurora guesses (usually correctly too) the word.
Anyway he tells me this:

Aurora: "Daddy! I want to play the letter game!"

Ryan: "Yeah? Well I have a really good one this time, you'll never guess!" (Said in his most competative smack-talk tone)

Aurora: "Daddy, I am so gonna kick your ass at this game!"
