On Saturday, my parents had a Mothers day BBQ. We exchanged small gifts and hugs, then sat down to the business of EATING. My chef-genius sister developed a chicken recipe using a tasty marinade of yougurt and dill...And her manager at the resturant she works in (Chilie's) is going to submit it to HQ for menu trial! I am so impressed! Well, we had that chicken which was hella-yum, then some creole shrimp, and steamed artichokes. My parents have a garden that is very fruitful and supplies a multitude of fresh veggies, including my personal favorite, the artichoke. Well, I had to bring a side dish- So I brought baked ziti with fresh-made tomato sauce, bashamel sauce, and covered in motzarella. My Dad was laughing, "Hey! Its like a cooking show in our kitchen!" Yum.

I worked on mothers day, and it was a fairly easy day. We were severly understaffed, but the volume was low, so it worked out in our favor. Monday was pretty busy, but nothing too exciting to write about.

I have class tonight and I already emailed my assignment. I thought I would hear something by today on whether it sucked, or was good, or what. So far nothing.

I am glad you had a good mom's day. You are a good mom! :) And I am sure you did great on your assignment. You always did great in school, even though you doodled all the time. ;)

Yipee! I heard that Ryan will be in my neck of the woods Saturday. Even if he is to busy to see me, just knowing that he is in the same town as me is cool. PLEASE, let him know that if he is to tired to drive back to Havasu Saturday night, he is more than welcome to crash at our house!
