Okay, I know that sounded a wee bit dramatic? But I am so very tired of sick kids. Today is better. Thank God.

Astrid caught a case of viral stomatitis. Gross. And apparently VERY painful. Like crying near constantly for three days and nights. "Unfortunately, stomatitis is not treatable beyond making the child comfortable." the website says. Or aside from general anesthesia for a week... Sheesh... Well we finally got some 'miracle mouthwash' (benadryl and mylanta). She woundn't eat or drink for two days, and I was worried about dehyration. After she used the mouthwash, she drank an entire 8 oz water and a cup of cottage cheese. Poor little thing. She was so thirsty and hungry.

So, like I said, she is finally feeling better and her appetite is returning.
