GRRR!

So I am not liking my job so much these days. Its really hard to articulate just what the hell that I don't like, but there is a definite undercurrent of anxiety. One of the nurses I really like got fired/quit/suspended (not sure which, but is no longer working there) There are daily changes to paperwork and procedure without any input by the nurses that are actually doing the work... I need a change I think.

The picture on the right sums up Ryan's day yesterday. But he did have a random encounter at the parking lot at his work. Now he works in South Tucson near a large homeless population and is occasionally asked for spare change. Anyway, yesterday a real rough-looking individual stumbles up to him, wearing an army green jacket, bleary yellow eyes, and a St. Vincent de Paul wardrobe.
This man comes over to Ryan and says, " 'Scuse me sir, but what is cognitive restructuring?"
Ummmm....

and I am sure Ryan replied "Cognitive restructuring in therapy is the process of learning to refute cognitive distortions, or undamental "faulty thinking," with the goal of replacing one's irrational, counter-factual beliefs with more accurate and beneficial ones."

Ah hem.... Yeah.

But I understand that feeling of disatisfaction with your job. Recently work has just been giving me that feeling on anxiety or restlessness, more than any thing else. So you can be adding student to the long list you left on my comments :) Because I need to move on to other things!
