I am finally feeling physically NORMAL. The last vestiges of the cold are disappearing and I don't have a headache in what feels like weeks. Today I went out to the crap (craft) room and cleaned house. I found a beautiful little tin that someone had given our family for Christmas, I used it to store little mementos of my Gram. I have this great little notebook that she must have had in her purse, it has everyday stuff in it plus has some artwork (that will someday be famous, I'm sure) done by me at around age 6 or so. I put in a pack of cards that she and I used to play 'go fish', 'war' and 'ol maid' with. I put in some slides too, that were taken of the family in 76 or 77.
I teared up of course, and Aurora sighed and said, "Momma, are you crying again?" I looked at her and sighed back, "Yeah. I am."
Then she suggested that we look at a picture of Gram. So I got out my old scrap book from childhood and we looked at some funny pictures of Mommy and Gram. By the end of the book we were laughing again. What a smart kid.
Here are some pics just for laughs. Because we need it!

Dana likes the stroller...

Swing baby swing!
Astrid makes a funny face.

This stunt is called "the Mother-fainter"

Look at the sunshine smiles. I love this picture.
