I was just registering for my last three ground classes for school. I was looking at my GPA, and discovered:
DAMN, I'M GOOD. (bragging about to commence)
Cumulative GPA: 3.856 (this is my near 100 hours and 10 years in community college plus my classes at Grand Canyon University averaged together) I never was one for getting excellent grades in HS, and certainly not the first few years of college either. It wasn't until 2001, when I took my first science course dedicated to the nursing program that something clicked in my head, like a frigging light went on and I have been averaging mostly A's since then.
A couple of nights ago, we had a visitor by the name of Mr. Western Diamondback rattlesnake. It was coiled up in front of the french doors, just chillen'. Ryan nearly stepped on him. We called the dogs into the house and then dialed 911. The firemen came and brought their snake tongs and a big metal box. They swaggered into my backyard and then scooped up that mean 'ol snake. Then they took it out to the desert and let it free. The western diamondback is a protected species, so I am glad we did not kill it.

YOU ROCK!!!! You have every reason to be proud. That is a great GPA.
I probably would not have had the presence of mind to call 911 - I would have been out there beating the thing with a shovel. lol But then, its not like we have a big snake popluation in Las Vegas.
