Recent trip to the zoo. Ethan and Astrid and Jenn.
OMG. So her I sit, listening to Ryan tell stories to the kids. Ethan is in his crib, he didn't even peep about going to bed. Astrid is already devising a plan to stay up. Aurora is like me and already asleep.
We put up our christmas tree today, and it's oh so pretty. The kids wanted to put it up last weekend, but I just couldn't. Even Halloween stuff goes up only for 30 days. The cats are laying on the tree skirt under the tree gazing up at the lights, and the kids were doing that earlier too. Silly things. I even made Ryan put up the outside lights.
So I have been busy busy busy crafting goodies for gifts. One year it was soap, one year it was knitted hats, this year... You will just have to see.

I loved my knitted hat! You always come up with such great gifts, I can't wait to see what you are making this year. :)
And our tree always goes up the weekend after thanksgiving - I want Brenden to have his birthday without it always being associated with Christmas, since they are so close together. But I have to admit - after I cleaned house this morning... I was so tempted to get the tree out and set it up!
