LT is leaving! Nooo!

I am so sad today. My friend Laura is leaving Tucson. She was a study-buddy from nursing school, we shared clincals, carpooled, and spent many an afternoon baking, drinking and gossiping. She and I had our internships at St Joseph's Labor and Delivery floor and she got hired on after nursing school, while I went to St Mary's ER. She was my nurse when I went to deliver Astrid. After she had already worked her 12 hour shift, she met me at the hospital at 1130pm and stayed until 0730 the next morning. She probably has no idea how much that meant for me. But that's Laura, one who has a knack for nursing, baking, and for friendship. My eyes cry and my throat is dry with the thought how much I will miss her.
