Kittens are fun, for the most part. Nico, the tabby is a purring machine. Dana, the calico is a cuddle queen. But when they are not sleeping, watch out, because the havoc-wrecking shall begin. They play indiana jones on the curtains, towels, pant legs, bare legs, you name it. They are learning that the kitchen counter, table, and 'the outside' are all off limits. We must have a squirt bottle on hand at all times to correct their behavior. One endearing trait is how they love Aurora and Astrid. AJ runs thru the house with a cat-fishing pole with the two kittens chasing her, all the while screaming with delight. Astrid routinely tries to cram the kitten's tails or ears into her gaping maw. They have been vaccinated, dewormed and all that good stuff, so Astrid should be okay, except for maybe hairballs.

Big Bub is way too dignified (lazy) to play in those childish games. He'd rather eat, or be brushed thank you very much. Fanny is probably hiding under the bed growling. She is still upset about the addition of the two kittens over 3 months ago!
Had another wolf spider in the house two nights ago. Ryan caught it in a clear glass, inspected it and was walking outside with it when it pushed its way out of the glass cover, leaping to freedom in our living room. Ryan caught it again and this time ran outside with it.
