Get along little doggies

Today we went out to Monument East Veterinary Hospital to get the kittens neutered. Its an all day affair, truly it is. It is 18.6miles one way. But I go there for the excellent veterinary care and to see my friends at my former place of work. Anyways the cats had surgery while Aurora ate up Brooke's candy stash and I told gruesome ER stories for entertainment. Then, we went over to Brooke's house and checked out the animals. Brooke and her family basically have a farm, complete with horses, goats and chickens. Sometimes there's a pig or a steer that they raise to (gulp) eat. Here are some pictures of Aurora and Astrid riding bareback on Abe. Abe is a 27 year old cow horse and he loves little girls. Back in his younger days, Brooke and her Dad rode him during round-up.
