whew! whatta weekend

Ever been so glad for a day off?
I worked really hard this weekend. Saturday was easy, monday was easy, sunday was the worst, ever. A sampling of my day? How about a young near-drowing victim with a broken neck? A stabbing? A heart attack? A heart attack that lead to cardiogenic shock? An ER diagnosed lung cancer victim who couldn't catch his breath? Orienting a nurse who is new to the ER? It was one hairy day that I was very glad to have ended.
This week is the week that am officially returning to work full time. I have been part time since April and la-dee-dah back again to the grindstone. I have a new mantra when the tough gets going...big screen tv...must save for a big screen tv...big screen tv...Materialistic I know, but it is SO nice to watch a movie on the big screen.
Aurora is doing really well at school. According to Miss Lisa, she really enjoys pretend play and dress up. (I could of told you that) She has a close friend that she plays with. Astrid is one moblie kid! Crawling, scooting, sitting, standing, (with help) It blows me away.
