This is an area just beyond our back yard. We took everyone on a 'nature walk'. Chester flushed birds and scouted the trail. Louis stuck to us like some kind of protective glue. It was just before a dusk monsoon rain, and it was breezy and desert-rain intoxicatingly beautiful.
