Moving on up to the East Side

So last night we went out to the East side of town to have a picnic and to look after Checkers, Jim and Susie's cat. Here we are at Agua Calliente park. For the picnic dinner we ate chicken tacos, salad, and sodas. Then we fed some ravenous ducks, saw some red-eared slider turtles, various fish, a red tailed hawk, an egret, some lizards and some huge dragonflys. The ducks were really funny and obviously very tame. Astrid was sitting in the stroller when the ducks came up to check out what kind of treats she might have. She took one look at them and started crying. She was fine once in my arms. Aurora actually hand fed one of the ducks! "Momma, can I pet the duck?" She asks, completely not afraid.
Then after dinner we went over to Jim and Susie's, watered plants, fed cat and fish, and watched "Lord of the Rings" on their gigantic TV. What a nice evening.

We went there yesterday, walked around ponds, ate sandwich for breakfast, shared with ducks. The old ranch house was started in 1873. The dining room is the oldes. The kitchen is worth going up there to see it. open from 8-5. We should meet you out there sometime for Hot dogs ect.

We went up to Mt Lemon, first time in 30 years, it was sure changed, new road, horrible fire. There were clouds and strams running, we saw a grey fox.
