Bah! ##$%&*!!
The 8-month old is crazy. She crawls, she grabs, she prefers to feed herself. She found the kitty food dish last sunday and dumped it. Yesterday she found the kitty water dish and tried to dump it. I gently redirected her, but this morning it was on.
1. Crawl to fire place mantel where the kitty dishes live "out of reach".
2. Pull up on mantel, grab and eat kitty kibble before mommy notices.
3. Astrid 'no-no' is my name, and dumping stuff's my game.
4. Get picked up, handed some boring toy and sat back down by mommy.
5. Crawl back to mantle, this time to the water dish. Splash until the mommy notices. She says something about letting her drink her coffee, blah, blah.
6. Get placed in high chair. Proceed to shovel cottage cheese and banana to mouth, face, hair, eye, etc.
7. Get bath in sink.
8. Refuse to lay down for 'just a second' to have diaper changed. Scream about head and arms going into shirt.
9. Attempt to stand up on changing table, watch mommy flip out.
10. Play on the floor, dump toy basket, hang on mommy's leg. Squeal.
11. Get placed in swing, eat snack, squeal, fall asleep.
Its barely 1000 and I need a nap already.
I found this link sent to me from an email. Its an automatic flatterer. Cute. Today we are heading over to Grandma's and Grandpa's to help get the yard sale of the century ready. I think they are mostly done, but they need signs and stuff. I'm sure it will be fun.

Love it! To funny. We so want them to talk, walk, and learn new things, but then when they start DOING them? We miss those days where they would just stay where they were put. He he he - it just gets more fun as they get older.
Astrid stood by herself without holding on. She will be running within a month! Mom
