I came across this as an email joke, and seriously I think its true. Especially true for those of us that work in a corporation, specifically a non-profit corportation. Eerie.
"THE PLAN"
"In the beginning there was the plan. And then came the assumptions. And the assumptions were without form. And the plan was without substance. And darkness was upon the face of the workers. And the workers spoke amongst themselves, saying, "This is a crock of shit, and it stinketh." And the workers went unto their supervisors and said, "It is a pail of dung, and we can't live with the smell." And the supervisors went unto their managers, saying, "It is a container of excrement, and it is very strong, such that none may abide it." And the managers went unto their directors, saying, "It is a vessel of fertilizer, and none may abide its strength." And the directors spoke amongst themselves, saying, "It contains that which aids plant growth, and it is very strong." And the directors went unto the vice presidents, saying, "It promotes growth, and it is very powerful." And the vice presidents went to the president, saying, "This new plan will actively promote the growth and vigor of the company with very powerful effects." And the president looked upon the plan and saw that it was good. And the plan became policy. And that my friends, is how shit happens."

Against my will,I've been in the Healthcare system for 15 years and seriously.I've depended on nurses and doctors to live.
I've never met a satisfied practicioner that I value and it took me a long time to get my caregivers on my side. They're good despite the system and they fight in every way possible including paying higher insurance rates to give patients the adequate pain medications.
My T.P. is private and I wouldn't have one in an HMO.They do more harm than good.
It's expensive to take charge of your own healthcare which is what we have to do.I go to Nogales for most medications. They work fine.
I don't know about an Emergency Ward.I went to one once and the doctor seemed afraid to treat me.
WE need good ideas.More money doesn't always help.Maybe less lawsuits would help.I don't know.
holy cow. I've got spam!
Holy Cow! You did get spam!
