Well... Last week was a challenge to get through. Thankfully I have such wonderful family and friends to turn to when I need to talk. I have to let you know that I wrote an email to my boss using the last entry for inspiration. She called me back immediately and gave me a number to the EAP (employee assistance program). So its comforting to know that there is other help out there as well. It is also nice to know that I am normal, and that its okay that I want to hold my own children closer. Another thing that helps is that I found out that the baby is still alive! The trauma caused internal bleeding in his cerebrum that was inoperable and that he'd be severely brain damaged. But, a few days ago, the report is that the bleed stopped and that he is tracking with his eyes and reaching out for his mother. It is a miracle. I want to thank everyone who had him in their prayers.
Last saturday, Ryan and the girls had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet the great Buzz Aldren. He was here in Tucson on a children's book signing tour. They purchased "Reaching for the Moon" and he autographed it! I came home from work on saturday and Aurora chattered on and on. "Momma! I got to meet an Agronaut! Him walked on the moon!" I think everyone was suitibly impressed with the super-genius-athlete-outstanding-senior-citizen. Man, I am jealous. I wanna meet an astronaut!

Years ago when Mark was still at the London Bridge Resort, he met Buzz Aldrin. He had locked himself out of his room. lol. Ask him sometime. It made a great impression on him!
