Yesterday I fisnished cleaning my craft room, or a Ryan calls it, the crap room. It seems that all the unwanted, but still good furniture ends up in the craft room. Which then becomes hugely cluttered in the matter of minutes. Take for instance one of those huge computer desks, with the hutch attached that weighs approximately 470 pounds, needed to be removed. The laminanate was chipped, handles were falling off and the the drawers were sticking, and the @##%& thing fell appart when lifted! My lower back and foot took a beating yesterday. "Lift with your legs, Stephanie, and if it is too heavy for your legs, dont lift the freaking thing!" Ryan tells me last night.
This reminds me that we were silly last night. After our showers and jammies, I had the bright idea to bundle everyone in their coats and go for hot chocolate at the local bookstore. So there we were in our jammies in the Barnes and Nobles cafe sipping hot chocolate, pretending that it was snowing outside. Ryan humored us, then went to look at paintball magazines. I took the girls up the escalator (which is thrilling all on its own) to the kids area where I let them run around. Aurora made some friends with a little pack of girls and Astrid toddled around after her. I hung back and watched, making sure Astrid didn't eat too many books.
I visited with Laura this week too. She looks fabulous! She has a totally cute new hair-do, and is getting all skinny! She had a lot of people to see when she came down, I am so lucky that she spent so much time with me!
Oh, a couple of days ago, we all went to see Chronicles of Narnia. Aurora was transfixed by it, as was I. Astrid didn't really watch, but wasn't too squirmy either. Man, what a fun movie! Back a long time ago, I read "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" but I may have to find it to read it again.

You know, I still have told Aurora about the monster at the end of the escalator... You have no idea how many times I had freaked out children over that one! lol
We also saw Narnia this weekend. Sunday afternoon. That is where Tristyn decided to get sick. It was a great movie, and he enjoyed it, even with a temp. We all did!
