A week till Christmas.

Are you ready? I mean, there are only 8 days left... That's because I have to work on Christmas day, so we're opening presents on Christmas Eve morning. Little kids don't know the difference, so I hope Ryan and I can pull it off. Today Santa is at the mall closest to us, so we were thinking about putting on our Christmas red outfits and going to see him. We may get pictures if they are not too expensive. Or, like last year, we may only get to the red velvet ropes and wave at Santa, because he can be kinda scary. See Bad Santa with Billy Bob Thornton for an extreme example.

Has anyone ever heard of "The Golden Birthday"? Gramma Laurie says is when you turn your age on your birthday. Example: When I turned 2 on the second of september. Or Ryan turning 31 on the 31st of Dec. I guess it means something special? What would be a fun thing to do for him? Last year we had "Ryans Run", a live-action game/birthday party/ scavenger hunt. It was a blast. T'was a birthday hard to top.
