Happy Anneversary-Birthday-Birthday-Father's Day!
Yes, its that time again. My parents' 43rd wedding anneversary, My Dad's Birthday, My Mom's Birthday, and Father's Day. I am so broke! Ha!
Last night we took my folks to Takamatsu, a local Japanese Tapanyaki Grill/ Sushi Bar. My parents had no idea, and were all freaky that they might have to eat raw fish! But no. The Chef dazzeled us with chopping stuff up, lighting stuff on fire, laughing, making jokes. All in all, it was a wonderful experience, and one worth repeating! yay. And the food? HELLA-GOOD.
An update on Nico: He is doing marvelously well. His fur is becoming glossy, he is playing some, he is coming back to his normal purrrsona. He is still getting SQ fluids and shots of penicillin everyday however. I bet he used up all of his 9 lives.
We had lovely omlettes for father's day breakfast, and we plan to go see "Cars" matinee. Not too sure of the intentions for the rest of the day. Ryan got an AC-DC teeshirt, and the new Chilie Peppers' CD for fathers day. Nice.

Happy Fathers Day! We went to Cars yesterday. Great movie! The kids went bonkers for it. lol Today we met the folks at Bolder Dam, had buffet and swapped kids. Tonight we are having friends over for swimming and BBQ. Where are the days when Dad got to spend the holiday taking a nap, so mom could nap on the other couch right along side of him? Hey, thats good. I think I am going to copy that and just make it my post! Two birds with one stone! Miss you guys!
